Bowling Tournament Rules

The following are a sketch of the rules for the GRA Bowling Tournaments. On the board meeting of november, 03, the decision has been made to make the bowling tournament a team tournament similar in spirit to the pool tournament with similar mechanics:

  • Teams are randomly drawn together
  • The impact of the single player performance shall be less than the average team performance.

Thus the tournament will work as follows:

After some time for warm-up play/practice, lanes are drawn together. The competition is between the lanes, directly leading onto a final between the two best lanes. The determining factor is the average point score of the lane across all plays (assuming the same amount of plays across all lanes). Lanes should be of size four to five players each.
